@Pony My favorite is a purple pair with a sparkly butterfly on the back. I have two pair with sparkly laces that get compliments all the time. I just bought another lavender pair that look really cool. I’m very much addicted to Slip-Ins.
@phendrick in all fairness, they are all great shoes. My xeros have been my favorite for YEARS. I even converted the Englishman. He didn’t like them for the first few months but he’s been completely converted for at least two years. He tells everyone how it’s improved his balance and he no longer has sciatica issues.
I think I’ve been wearing basically the same style of Adidas “running” shoes for the last 20 years in the summer. Take a long time to wear out if you aren’t running/show up cheap on slickdeals so there is a back up pair in the closet. Migrate to lawn mowing shoes when there are holes.
Same pair of black boots for fall/winter that last 5 years… I’m very bland
I’m wrong they are Asics I’ve been wearing for 20 years lol. The sandals I’m wearing around the house are Adidas screw ups or something. The tread pattern is different between the left/right on both pairs. obviously I don’t pay that much attention
Alegria. They work for my feet

Skechers
@heartny Same here.
@heartny @Pony Make it a threesome.
/showme a happening threesome happening while they’re all wearing Skechers comfy shoes

@mediocrebot Was that so hard?
I see there are others that share my color sense.
@heartny @phendrick My favorite pair of Skechers are bright purple. I get so many compliments on them every time I wear them.

That looks like an advertisement
@heartny @Pony I have a purple pair too, and also a red pair. No butterflies or sparkles, though. (I have other colors but those are my 2 favorites.)
So athletic shoes? On Cloud
Allen Edmonds
For dress shoes it was Rockport, but I am not sure they are in business. I like Bean boat shoes. I use Specialized bike shoes with Speedplay pedals.
Whatever I can find that fits and doesn’t require financing, which is a challenge when you wear a women’s 13W.
Walmart clearance.
@BioBill That used to be my go-to, back in the previous days.
Xero, Vivo, Docs or Uggs.
@sillyheathen That’s a lot of 4-letter words.
@phendrick yeah…

@phendrick @sillyheathen
I also love zeros and Vivos.
And Walmart knock off crocs, which seemed to last approximately forever
@phendrick @sillyheathen
I typed and corrected “xero” 4 times, above
each time AutoCorrect still “corrected” to zero.
I finally gave up
Mail ordered yhrse from the inventor/biz owner’s shop in
Boulder
it was a long time ago when I found them them
first few times I got them they didn’t sell the fully made ones yet
I bought kits
I had a bunch of these, and and many pair sort of managed to get lost
I was moving and temporarily put some stuff in storage
and as far as I know, I wasn’t robbed, but I could never find the box they were in again
No idea what happened
Still love them.
